1-1/2 cups shredded, extra sharp cheddar cheese
3/4 cup flour
1/4 cup butter, cut in chunks
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1 TBSP half-and-half Add first 5 ingredients to food processor. Pulse until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add half-and-half and pulse until dough forms a ball.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Roll dough on floured surface into 8x10'' rectangle about 1/8" thick. Cut into strips ~3/8" x 8" using a sharp knife or pizza cutter. Bake on ungreased cookie sheets for 12 minutes until ends are slightly browned. Cool on baking sheets 30 minutes. Break into desired lengths. Total cooking/preparation time: Moderate Servings: 8
