Turkey Tetrazini

Chicken may be substituted for the turkey in this recipe!

2 cups turkey, cooked and cut up
3 cups, cooked spaghetti or other pasta
1/2 lb mushrooms, sliced and sauteed slightly
1/4 cup almonds, sliced or slivered (optional)

Sauce:
1-1/2 TBSP butter or margarine
2 TBSP flour
1 cup turkey or chicken broth
1 cup milk

Parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine pasta, turkey and mushrooms in lightly greased casserole dish. Heat butter in saucepan. Stir in flour. Add broth gradually, stirring constantly until creamy. Stir in milk until smooth. Pour over pasta mixture and mix. (Will be quite soupy.) Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and bake at 375 until golden, about 30 minutes.

Servings: 4-6
