Try adding cooked spaghetti and additional water to the sauce for a complete meal! 1 bunch broccoli, cut up and steamed until al dente
2 cups chicken, cooked and cut up
Sauce:
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup almonds, slivered
sm can mushrooms (or saute and use fresh!)
juice from 1/2 lemon
1/4 tsp curry powder
Topping:
grated cheddar cheese
2 tsp butter or margarine
1/2 cup breadcrumbs Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a casserole dish or oblong pan with non-stick cooking spray. Layer broccoli and chicken. Sprinkle with almonds.Combine all sauce ingredients and pour over the top.
Shred cheddar cheese over top. Melt butter or margarine and combine with breadcrumbs. Sprinkle evenly over sauce mixture. Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes. Total cooking/preparation time: Moderate Servings: 4-6
