Red Wine and Garlic Vinegar

This is a great gift idea. Use decorative or bottles from a kitchen store or just use an old wine or vinegar bottle.

Peel individual garlic cloves. Put into a clean old wine bottle, preferably clear glass. Fill with red wine vinegar to cover garlic. Let sit 1 1/2 - 2 weeks.

Make flavored vinegars with herbs in the same way. Put herb sprigs in wine bottle. Fill with white wine vinegar. Let sit 1 1/2 - 2 weeks.
