Felafels

1 egg
1 TBSP water
1 tsp lemon juice
2 TBSP fresh parsley (or 2 tsp dried)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 TBSP soy sauce
1/4 cup tahini
2 cups cooked chick peas
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp coriander
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/3 cup raw wheat germ
pita bread

Sauce:
1 cup plain yogurt
2 TBSP tahini
2 TBSP fresh lemon juice
1 small clove garlic, crushed and minced
1/4 tsp cumin

In food processor blend egg, water, lemon juice, parsley, garlic, soy sauce and tahini until smooth. Add the chick peas cumin, coriander and chili powder and blend again. Transfer to a bowl and stir in wheat germ. Form into patties and fry in lightly oil pan until lightly browned. Serve in pita with yougurt-tahini sauce.
